| LR 292 | – | The Natural Resources Committee shall conduct a study examining the efficiency of renewable energy and conduct a public hearing to provide for public comment to carry out the purposes of this resolution.

| LR 293 | – | The Natural Resources Committee shall conduct a study to find opportunities for diversifying uses of agricultural land in Nebraska while bringing much needed economic development to the rural areas. A way to achieve this goal is to allow Nebraska farmers and ranchers to enter into contracts with private wind energy developers, or alternatively for them to invest in their own wind energy generation farms. This study shall examine exempting wind energy generation from the condemnation powers of all public power entities in order to achieve these goals and to further the development of wind energy in Nebraska.
