History
The regional collaborative effort began in 2001 with a series of interviews with a set of wind energy stakeholders throughout the POWER region. The purpose of the interviews was to evaluate the merit in forming a regional collaborative of wind energy stakeholders. Those stakeholders interviewed indicated that they did see merit and value in such a group assuming that this would not duplicate efforts and the group is productive.
