Welcome from the Conference Hosts
North Dakota Petroleum Council, the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources will be your conference hosts. We look forward to hosting this 16th international conference in the Williston Basin and hope to bring you the best event possible. Please contact us with any suggestions or comments on the conference.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone with an interest in the oil and gas business in the Williston Basin should attend. Due to the high attendance at the conference in Minot in 2006 (550 attendees), the majority of the conference events have been moved to the North Dakota State Fair Center. This facility is large enough to accommodate everyone who wants to attend the conference in 2008.

Topics:
Technical presentations will be the highlight of the conference, as industry experts from across North America cover all the "Hot Plays" in the Williston Basin including the Bakken, Three Forks, and Ratcliffe, along with talks on deep and shallow gas plays and CO2-EOR opportunities in the Basin. In addition, crude oil transportation issues and a panel on Bakken fracture stimulation techniques will be of great interest to attendees. Keynote speakers include North Dakota Governor John Hoeven and Dr. Michael Economides, the world-renowned energy industry economist from the University of Houston.

Sponsorship Packages:
This year we are offering a number of sponsorship packages that include conference registration(s) and a booth at the Expo. Check this out before you register for any single item. This may simplify the registration process for you. In order to have your company name listed in the Conference booklet and on posters displayed at the conference, please register as a sponsor before April 16.

Expo:
The conference will feature an Expo in the 40,000 sq. ft. Magic Place, a recent expansion at the State Fair Grounds. The Expo in 2006 was a sell-out, so reserve your booth early. There will be space for 150 booths, as well as limited space for large demonstrations, trucks, and other displays which should be a great addition to the conference.

See you in April:
We hope to see you in Minot, North Dakota. The good times are back! This is your industry. Be part of the fun and “Capture the Williston Basin Fever.” Please contact us with any questions.
