Bakken and Beyond!
Join us for the 18th Williston Basin Petroleum Conference & Expo May 2 - 4, 2010 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
With oil and gas activities reaching a feverish pitch in the Williston Basin, we are expecting around 2,000
people at this year's Conference.
Welcome from the Conference Hosts
North Dakota Petroleum Council, the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources will be your conference hosts. We look forward to hosting this 18th international conference in the Williston Basin and hope to bring you the best event possible. Please contact us with any suggestions or comments on the conference.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone with an interest in the oil and gas business in the Williston Basin should attend.
Due to the high attendance at the Conference in Minot in 2008 (1,400 attendees), the Conference events have
been moved to the Bismarck, ND, Civic Center. This facility is large enough to accommodate everyone who
wants to attend the Conference in 2010.
Topics:
Technical presentations will be the highlight of the Conference, as industry experts from across North
America cover all the “Hot Plays” in the Williston Basin including the Bakken, Three Forks, and Lodgepole,
along with talks on deep and shallow gas plays and CO
2-EOR opportunities in the Basin. In addition,
crude oil transportation issues and a panel on Bakken fracture stimulation techniques will be of great
interest to attendees. Keynote speakers include North Dakota Governor John Hoeven, Clarence Cazalot of Marathon Oil
Company, and Jim Volker of Whiting Oil and Gas.
Sponsorships:
This year we are offering a number of sponsorship opportunities. Visit the sponsorship section for more information.
Those who decide to sponsor after April 5 will not be included in the Conference booklet.
Media:
Members of the media who plan to cover the conference must register as "Media" using a special code.
