The Waffle® Metadata Site provides a portal to data sets and resources that focus on Red River Basin flood protection. Featured is the extensive collection of information and resources gathered for the purposes of this study of the Waffle concept. Links to these data sources are provided. Pertinent information regarding resource ownership, location, and documentation, along with the creation date, scale, and format of resources, is displayed when applicable.
Queries can be posed by checking boxes that follow logical groupings of geospatial data by watershed and/or county. Alternatively, a user can search by title or publication year and be prompted by utilizing a series of drop-down selections. When a data set or resource of interest is found, more details can be obtained, including instructions on how to obtain the resource. Some of the resources are online for immediate transfer, while others will need to be ordered. This Web site will be updated as additional sources of data become available. This site will assist users in data queries and act as an additional guide to Red River Basin flood protection-related resources. |
