Mr. Ryan J. Klapperich
POSITION: Senior Hydrogeologist

Ryan J. Klapperich is a Senior Hydrogeologist at the EERC, where he is working for the Oil and Gas Group and the Plains CO2 Reduction (PCOR) Partnership to evaluate the potential for carbon dioxide storage in geologic formations. Prior to his position at the EERC, he was a Laboratory Technician at the North Dakota Geological Survey Core and Sample Library and a Graduate Research Assistant at UND. He holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Geology and a B.A. degree in the Honors Program, all from UND. Mr. Klapperich's principal areas of interest and expertise include hydrogeology, geographic information systems (GIS), CO2 sequestration, and related environmental issues. Mr. Klapperich has authored and coauthored numerous reports and publications.
