PCOR Partnership Decision Support System (DSS)
The DSS is a Web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) created for the Plains CO2 Reduction (PCOR) Partnership, one of seven regional partnerships in the U.S. Department of Energy National Energy Technology Laboratory Regional Carbon Sequestration Program. The DSS uses GIS technology to provide the PCOR Partnership members with a single point of access to a wide variety of interactive tools for evaluating CO2 sequestration-related data, assessing potential CO2 storage capacity, and identifying potential matches of sources with storage opportunities in the region.

More on GIS ...
As organizations continue to acquire large quantities of data, there is an increased need to fully understand and analyze this information. In many cases, data interpretation can be enhanced through the integration of these data with geospatial elements. The RIS has experience in utilizing a broad array of ESRI® products for conducting geospatial analysis, developing Web and desktop GIS applications, and cartographic production. RIS also specializes in the integration of geospatial and nongeospatial data.
