Bethany A. Kurz is a Senior Research Manager at the EERC, where she oversees research related to innovative, integrated strategies for water resource management, including flood and drought mitigation, evaluation and treatment of nontraditional water supply sources, geographic information system (GIS)-based water resource assessments, and hydrologic modeling. She has also worked on projects involving carbon sequestration, water quality credit trading, coalbed methane produced water management, climate change, remediation of contaminants in soil and water, and wind energy resource investigation, education, and outreach. Ms. Kurz received an M.S. degree in Hydrogeology from UND in 1998 and a B.S. degree in Geochemistry from Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, Massachusetts, in 1995.
