Ms. Charlene R. Crocker
Research ScientistCharlene R. Crocker, Research Manager, performs research related to mercury and halogens in the area of coal combustion and characterization methods for heavy metals in soil using a variety of spectroscopic techniques, including laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, cold-vapor and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy, inductively coupled argon plasma spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and ultratrace elemental analysis of mercury using atomic fluorescence.
