Databases

With over 800 publications from more than 40 publishers, the FIRST SEARCH database is the first place to look for coal ash information.

Targeted toward buyers, the Buyer's Guide is a source for contractors and consumers seeking environmentally friendly products. All products in the Buyer’s Guide contain coal ash, a byproduct from coal-fired power plants, as a raw material.
The ABC Database contains CCSEM, XRD, XRF, Malvern, and ASTM C618 analysis for over 80 ashes from biomass and coal samples. Microsoft Access (2000 or above) is required to use this database. A User Manual provides instructions on database navigation.
This database contains 100 (SEM) photos from 25 different coal ashes. The SEM Photo Database is particularly helpful in comparing the physical characteristics of coal by-products. This database is not available on the Internet. Contact Kurt Eylands for more information.
This internal abstract database is only available to sponsors of the Mercury and Air Toxic Element Impacts to Coal Combustion By-Product Disposal and Utilization project. A username and password are required to access the database.
