Abstract Submittal

The Biomass '08 Workshop will incorporate the following topic areas:
- Trends and Opportunities in Utilizing Biomass
- Renewable Policies and Incentives
- Ethanol: Corn vs. Lignocellulosics
- Financing Biomass-Related Projects
- New Innovations for Biodiesel Production
- Biorefinery Chemicals and Products
- Biomass for Heat and Electricity
- Biomass Feedstock Potential
Requirements
Please submit a one-page abstract that includes the following required information:
- Related topic number from the list above
- Name, title, company, complete address, phone, fax, and e-mail for presenting author
- Biographical sketch for presenting author
- Names, organizations, cities, and states for coauthors
The presenting author will be the individual to whom all correspondence will be sent and who must meet the deadlines and obligations of the workshop, which includes submitting a PowerPoint presentation and giving an oral presentation at the 2008 workshop on July 15 or 16.
PowerPoint files will be due electronically on July 1, 2008.
Abstract Selection
The abstract submitted will be utilized for technical committee review and selection purposes and, if selected for presentation, will be included in workshop attendee materials along with a hard copy of the PowerPoint presentation. Notification of acceptance will be made by April 1, 2008.
Fees and Reimbursement
The workshop registration fee will be waived for the presenting author; any coauthors planning to attend will be required to pay the registration fee. There is no reimbursement available for time spent or expenses incurred in preparing presentation materials, for transportation to the workshop, or for expenses incurred at the workshop.
