One of the featured attractions of the new facility is a row of 47 flags, which represent the EERC's 788 clients from all 50 states and 47 countries around the world. The Discovery Hall, which honors a select group of explorers of the past while celebrating the courage, creativity, and inventiveness of the EERC's employees, will be showcased, as well as artwork done by Karl Bodmer during his exploration of our region with Prince Maximilian of Wied in 1833 and 1834. Bodmer's work, along with a quote from Thomas Jefferson, embodies the EERC's commitment to protect our air, water, and soil while enhancing our country's opportunities for energy independence.
