International Attendees
The organizers of the Hydrogen Summit/MSHBC Conference appreciate the input and diversity that international attendees provide. We welcome
your participation and encourage you to register early to accommodate the necessary paperwork required.
U.S. Visas
U.S. visas are issued by American consular officials according to the requirements of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act. Federal
regulations now require more thorough visa processing, so international attendees are encouraged to apply for visas as soon as possible and
no later than 3 to 4 months in advance of the meeting date. All applicants must be able to qualify for a visa on their own merits under the
requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act. International attendees are solely responsible for all forms, filings and contacts with
a United States consulate in their country of origin to obtain a visa to enter the United States. The EERC cannot intervene on behalf of the
invitees with the U.S. State Department or an American Embassy or Consulate via fax, phone, surface mail, or e-mail.
Letter of Invitation to the Hydrogen Summit
A Letter of Invitation for the passport and visa application process can be found at
and printed out for submission with your visa application to verify the name, dates, location and purpose of the event. However, we are unable to call
or generate personal letters to the embassy or consulate on your behalf. Once you have completed the
online registration process and we have received your payment
for the event, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us, which you can bring with you to your visa interview.
Financial Support
The EERC is not able to provide financial support to meeting participants. Airfare, ground transportation, hotel, meals not included in
registration for the event, travel insurance, and any other local expenses are the responsibility of each meeting participant.
