The EERC's staff is a multidisciplinary team of more than 320 highly skilled scientists, engineers, and support personnel representing more than 122 different disciplines, making it one of the world's leading developers of energy and environmental technologies. This includes 20 full-time-equivalent employees supported elsewhere on the UND campus.

Operations:
The EERC is located on more than 15 acres of land on the southeast corner of the UND campus in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The EERC houses 245,000 square feet of laboratories, technology demonstration facilities, and offices.
