The Venue
Stable Soil ’09 will be held at the newly renovated Rough Riders Hotel in scenic Medora,
North Dakota. This charming, historic hotel is located in the heart of downtown Medora. The
dining room has been expanded and is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. In 2010 the
expansion will be complete with 68 additional rooms added to the hotel, complete with
conference room facilities.

Room Package
As a Stable Soil attendee, you are eligible for a special room rate of $69/night plus tax
for single/double occupancy at the Badlands Motel. A block of rooms has been reserved for the
night of October 14, 2009. Make your reservation early because the discounted rate is only in
effect until September 14, 2009, and rooms are subject to availability.
To make your reservation, call 1-800-Medora-1 (1-800-633-6721) and
ask for reservations. Tell the reservationist our group name (EERC, code 1352) and the date
of arrival.
About the Motel
Close to all the action in Medora, the Badlands Motel has 114 air-conditioned rooms. The
rooms include either two double beds or one king-size bed. Adjacent to the motel is a large,
heated outdoor swimming pool and miniature golf course. All rooms are nonsmoking and pets
are not permitted.
