Welcome to Air Quality VII, the world’s premier conference on carbon management, mercury, trace substances, SOx, NOx, and particulate matter. As a testament to the relevance and importance of this event, we are pleased to announce that our attendance numbers have remained strong amid the current economic climate, and we are pleased that you could join us. We welcome an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, presenters, session chairs, and coordinators from across the United States and the world. In total, we have more than 400 people registered for this year’s event, representing over 35 states, the District of Columbia, and ten countries.

This conference continues to evolve as critical issues emerge and grow throughout the United States and world related to energy and the environment. As an example, we have expanded the conference to include dedicated sessions focused on carbon management and have invited the world’s experts to share their points of view with us. Carbon capture and sequestration are at the forefront of challenges facing the energy and environmental sectors and continue to be a top priority for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). To address this globally emerging issue, the opening panel will address moving carbon capture and sequestration into the marketplace.

This exciting 3 ½-day Air Quality VII event continues to deliver timely discussion on a variety of critical air emission issues, including the many questions related to proposed multipollutant U.S. legislation, the status of international activities, and technological advances achieved as a result of increased support for technology development. Air Quality VII brings together private industry, the research community, policy makers, and regulators to address these issues to ensure improved quality of life for both global societies and future generations.

Air Quality VIII is already scheduled for October 24-27, 2011, at the Crystal Gateway Marriot. Click here for preliminary information.
